COVID-19 Information and Updates
Long Beach Green room is open normal hours.
We are monitoring the city and health department activity.
Luckily, Long beach is one of three cities in California that have their own Public health department (Other cities rely on county-based public health departments)
With direction from the city, state, and CDC, we are taking extra precautions and implementing new store protocols to ensure less contact and potential spread.
Thank you for your cooperation.
All beaches in the city of Long Beach will be closed to the public 12:01a.m. Friday, July 3, to 5:01 a.m. Monday, July 6. This includes bike and pedestrian paths, beach access ways, bathrooms and beach parking lots (permit holders excluded). All fireworks shows have been cancelled.
Parks will stay open for public use, but people will need to adhere to all CDC-mandated social distancing and safety guidelines to avoid getting shut down.
As of June 30, Long Beach has a total of 4,379 confirmed cases of COVID-19 — nearly a 173% increase from the reported 1,605 at the end of May.
Governor Newsom has also ordered restaurants across the state to suspend indoor dining, but they can still operate with outdoor dining, take out and delivery services.
The Aquarium of the Pacific and other Long Beach businesses such as museums and tasting rooms are still allowed to utilize their outdoor spaces.
